THE POSITION

The Sitting Made Simple (SMS®) Customer Experience Associate is responsible for providing daily support to our SMS® community and reports directly to Lauren Hardy, owner of the SMS® Cincinnati location.

The Customer Experience Associate is in direct contact and provides daily assistance to our SMS® community. This role is critical in helping the brand grow in creating new and sustaining current relationships with our users. Therefore, this individual must be goal minded with a strong sense of organization and leadership, while focusing on the user experience. The role requires someone with a sense of urgency, a problem-solver who can make quality decisions in alignment with the company’s brand standards.

The position offers flexibility, autonomy and opportunity for growth. The individual will continue to collaborate with, learn from and work alongside the owner, while also having independence to operate seamlessly within the SMS® office. It’s important that the individual in this role is ambitious to learn and grow with the brand.

THE SCHEDULE

The individual will work entirely remote. BONUS if local to Cincinnati.

Monday - Friday 9a-5p eastern standard time.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO
  • Responsible for leading and providing top notch customer service to our SMS® community, while creating new relationships to build upon. Assisting our members, sitters and the community to meet their needs.
  • Recruit, hire and process new sitters, while maintaining stellar relationships with our current sitter community.
  • Recruit and maintain stellar relationships with our members to increase memberships and user activity.
  • Create and manage local and corporate partnerships.
  • Create and maintain a presence in our local communities.
  • Oversee the care, organization, shipping and of the SMS® product.
  • Participate and support the brand’s social media platforms.
  • Work with the owner to regularly review to meet sales and operational goals.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
  • An impeccable verbal and written communicator is A MUST!
  • Enthusiastic listeners, always trying to truly understand and connect with others. You also see listening as your gateway to soak in all the knowledge that is available to you in a brand like SMS®.
  • Those who pride themselves on superb organizational and time management skills, especially when busy. You know how to prioritize and focus on what’s most important at any moment.
  • You genuinely want to learn and grow both personally and professionally. You crave opportunities to collaborate with those around you.
  • You believe in the power of feedback and know that there’s always an opportunity to improve.
  • You also feel comfortable giving feedback to others so that they may improve as well.
  • You embrace technology, can use the SMS® software with ease from any device and know all things social media. You’re an active user on Facebook, instagram and/or TikTok.
